Computer Operator In Police Net For Allegedly Stealing Employer’s Computers


The Delta State Police Command has arrested a 34-year-old man, Oki Precious, who allegedly stole eight computers from the school where he works in Warri area of the state.
The suspect, who works as a computer operator at Nana Primary School, allegedly stole eight out of the fifteen computers supplied to the school by the Delta State Government.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement said Oki was arrested on March 6, 2022, after the school authorities reported the theft to the police.
According to him, “The investigation later revealed that the suspect is the computer operator working in the school and employed by the parent-teachers association (PTA) of the school.
The suspect led the police to his house where seven computers were recovered.The case has been charged to court.”
