BREAKING: U.K. Government Freezes Chelsea Owner’s Assets

Chelsea has been left in limbo with multi-billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich’s assets frozen, meaning he cannot sell the Premier League club.
Chelsea cannot sell tickets to games – with only season ticket holders allowed to attend – nor merchandise.
No new player transfers or contracts will be permitted and the club cannot spend more than £20,000 on away game travel, which puts their Champions League tie away to Lille in question.
