Peter Obi Vows Not To Mismanage Public Funds If Elected President

The Peoples Democratic (PDP) presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, on Tuesday vowed not to mismanage public funds, citing his antecedent as Governor of Anambra State.
Obi in an interview on Arise News on Tuesday, said he left huge money in the coffers of Anambra State in 2014, and invested in “critical infrastructures” while he was governor.
“I was Anambra Governor for eight years; show me when the state’s money was mismanaged,” Obi said.
Recall that Obi declared his intentions to run for presidency on March 24 in Awka, Anambra State at a gathering of traditional rulers. He was running mate to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 presidential election.
Since his declaration last month, many of his supporters have taken to social media (Twitter most especially), to promote their man. According to them, Obi is an intellectual individual with a proven track record of transforming dreams into reality.
