Laughter In Court As Suspect Compliments Magistrate’s look and Suit

A man named , Wycliffe Mungo, who was arraigned on charges of stealing, has caused laughter at the Mombasa Law Court after he told a Mombasa principal magistrate, Vincent Adet that he was handsome and smart.
According to a Kenyan news outlet, K24 Digital, on Wednesday, Mungo began by asking the magistrate where he bought his suit.
He said, “Your honour first of all good afternoon and secondly allow me to compliment you for being so handsome. Your black suit seems to be from Nairobi and yourself l believe you are from there too.”
“You appear smart and handsome. I trust you are from Nairobi. Those from Nairobi look like you. Your black suit and tie must be expensive.”
The man also went on to narrate how he was wrongly accused of theft as the plaintiff was his girlfriend.
He also claimed that they live together and her belongings are still in his house, so how could he steal from her?
The case was adjourned to another day.
