Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, Rhodes-Vivour visits injured victims of election violence.
The Lagos State governorship candidate under Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has visited injured persons at the just-concluded governorship election in the hospital.
Most polling units were hijacked by thugs who beat up and assault citizens who weren’t going to vote for their candidate. And these thugs are mentioned to be the core supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Rhodes-Vivour, shared photos of the victims receiving treatments on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
He said, “Elections are not war. Governance should be about protecting, not shedding the blood of those you are meant to serve.”I’ve spent the last days reaching out, attending to, and making sure those hurt by the violence unleashed by the ruling party got treatment.”
