May Yul Edochie Finally Breaks Silence On Son’s Death
May, who has been quiet on the painful passing of her son has finally broken her silence following the passing of her son Kambiichukwu, three months ago.
She took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share a photo of herself with all her kids and penned a piece to mourn her late son.
May wrote: “Words are not enough to express our gratitude to you all. In all of these ordeals, we believe that this immeasurable loss is heaven’s gain.
“When you lose a husband, you are called a widow…..You lose a wife, a widower….You lose a father, fatherless….You lose a mother, motherless…You lose both parents, an orphan…You lose a sibling, a “forgotten mourner”….Other than vilomah which means “against a natural order”, I cannot find an English word for losing a child.
“I do not think there’s any death as intense and painful as losing one’s child. We are still in inexpressible grief, however, I want you all to know that we are fine by God’s special grace.
“Indeed the uncertainty of tomorrow remains a mystery and some occurrences are unforgettable but we just have to find a way to live with them no matter how painful and difficult they are. The incredible love and support from you all my family, friends and well-wishers all around the globe through various means are unimaginable and unconditional.
“In recent times, we have experienced the most devastating and traumatic circumstances of life but your prayers have kept us going.
“My friends and family have been a great pillar and helped me through the process in the most amazing ways. All the brands I represent have been kind and patient. Life left me in a state of resigning myself to fate with a meaningless and overwhelming feeling, but you, my amazing fans, stood by me even in my absence. This love is “God’s grace” and can only be described as both the wonder and awe of serendipity.
“We truly appreciate and cannot thank you all enough, and sincerely hope that everything sums up into enabling us to stand the tragic loss and panic.
“We only have God’s blessings to offer in return and pray that affliction will never rise in your homes in Jesus’ name. 🙏❤️.
“It is impossible to forget a child so he’ll always remain the second of my four adorable children. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty my sweet angel, Kambilinachukwu, until we meet again. 🙏💔.”
May and Yul Edochie, have three children together.
Things became really awkward and bad in their marriage last year when Yul, announced he is now polygamous, introducing to the public his new wife, Judy Austin, with whom he welcomed a son, Star Duke Munachimso Yul Edochie, in 2022.
We pray May finds the strength to completely overcome this loss.

Remembering Iyalode of Yorubaland
By Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji
Precisely 365 days today at about 6. 45am, a telephone call I first received came from the home of Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson.
My heart skipped…and listening to the voice from other end of the phone, It was sad news… Mama has gone to the Lord.
Honestly, I was immediately confused and still on my Jalamia, (Pyjamas) I drove straight to her private residence at Quarry Road in Abeokuta. Reality dawned on me on arrival and I couldn’t hold back tears which rolled down my face and I became speechless.
It was a Saturday I used to appear on live radio program on fresh F.M between 9-11am. When I regained my consciousness, I put a call across to management of the station, that I can’t make it because I was bereaved. As I was still trying to comport myself and further regain my strength as a man, there were torrential phone calls from my colleagues in the pen profession, knowing that I was her media adviser, trying to confirm authenticity of the sad news.
I had no choice I had to issue a press statement early enough to avoid speculations and wrong news dissemination. I must confess in my career as journalist of over three decades that was my first time I will be writing a press statement on a demise of any individual.
I must again openly say this, late Iyalode Alaba Lawson, Iyalode of Yorubaland, I knew for over 30 years was my great benefactor and I will continue to appreciate her even in death. She was there for me all time, a reliable mother, a sister and aunty from another womb.
I have no regret knowing her, if there is opportunity to keep relationship in heaven, I will keep that relationship with Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson (Omo Jiboku Tanatana). Its exactly a year today you left this sinful world to rest in the arms of the Lord. The legacies you left behind speak volume. I pray you continue to rest in perfect peace. Adieu

Why I’m Not Ready For Kids – Singer Burna Boy Reveals
Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed why he is not yet ready to have children.
He made this known during an Instagram live session on his page on Wednesday.
Burna Boy claimed that his desire to provide the same level of love and dedication his parents gave him is the reason why he is not having kids.
Explaining further, Burna Boy said, “Why haven’t I had kids yet? Bro, it’s because I don’t want to have kids. Like, have you seen my operation? Have you seen my mom the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad the way he loves me?
“Bro, I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I live. So until I am settled and can be there for my children every day, every minute of every day, I am not having any kids.”
