Nigerian musician Mohbad Dead at 27
According to entertainment journalist, Ovie who posted about it on X, the 27-year-old Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
However, as at the time of this report, its unclear the cause of his death.
Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba known professionally as MohBad, Before his demise was formerly signed to Naira Marlev’s “Marlian records” and left the label in 2022. He’s best known for his hit singles, Pomo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke) with Rexxie which was nominated three times for The Headies awards in 2022.
However, the singer had always talked about how he’s life is constantly being threatened, He also talks about them in his song lyrics. But no one could really point out what exactly he was facing.
His family today released official statement announcing his passing While his former boss, Naira Marley has also reacted to his death. His sudden passing really came as a big shock.
MohBad’s young wife also made lots of posts mourning him. Part of her post read;
