Footballer Sadio Mane’s Teenager Wife Says She Didn’t Marry Him For His Fame And Wealth
His money and fame will not change me. I’m not interested in that” – Footballer Sadio Mane’s wife Aisha Tamba insists
Al Nassr/Senegalese footballer, Sadio Mane’s wife has spoken for the first time about her marriage to the footballer insisting that his wealth and fame will not change her ‘humble ways.’
The former Liverpool star married 18-year old Aisha Tamba in an Islamic ceremony on January 7 in Keur Massar, a suburb in the capital city of Dakar, Senegal.
31-year-old Mane enjoys the life of a multi-millionaire footballer, earning a staggering £650,000 per week, flying in private jets, a stark contrast to the life his new wife has been used to.
Before now, Aisha lived in a shabby part of Dakar opposite a swamp. According to reports, her house contained about 30 relatives.
Speaking through a relative, she told MailOnline: ‘I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.
‘I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.’
She added: ‘But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.’
Aisha is expected to join Mane in Saudi Arabia later this year once she finishes her final school exams.
The couple will not be going on honeymoon because Aisha’s father asked her to focus on her studies.
Mane is teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo whose partner Georgina Rodriguez is considered one of the world’s most glamorous WAGs and has more than 55 million followers on Instagram.
But Aisha revealed: ‘I don’t know who she is and I don’t do any social media.’
Relatives revealed that away from schoolwork, Aisha’s spends most of her time studying the Quran and can recite large parts of it.
Her cousin Amadou, who lives in the same house as her told MailOnline: ‘As a family, our number one priority is Islam.

Remembering Iyalode of Yorubaland
By Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji
Precisely 365 days today at about 6. 45am, a telephone call I first received came from the home of Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson.
My heart skipped…and listening to the voice from other end of the phone, It was sad news… Mama has gone to the Lord.
Honestly, I was immediately confused and still on my Jalamia, (Pyjamas) I drove straight to her private residence at Quarry Road in Abeokuta. Reality dawned on me on arrival and I couldn’t hold back tears which rolled down my face and I became speechless.
It was a Saturday I used to appear on live radio program on fresh F.M between 9-11am. When I regained my consciousness, I put a call across to management of the station, that I can’t make it because I was bereaved. As I was still trying to comport myself and further regain my strength as a man, there were torrential phone calls from my colleagues in the pen profession, knowing that I was her media adviser, trying to confirm authenticity of the sad news.
I had no choice I had to issue a press statement early enough to avoid speculations and wrong news dissemination. I must confess in my career as journalist of over three decades that was my first time I will be writing a press statement on a demise of any individual.
I must again openly say this, late Iyalode Alaba Lawson, Iyalode of Yorubaland, I knew for over 30 years was my great benefactor and I will continue to appreciate her even in death. She was there for me all time, a reliable mother, a sister and aunty from another womb.
I have no regret knowing her, if there is opportunity to keep relationship in heaven, I will keep that relationship with Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson (Omo Jiboku Tanatana). Its exactly a year today you left this sinful world to rest in the arms of the Lord. The legacies you left behind speak volume. I pray you continue to rest in perfect peace. Adieu

Explaining further, Burna Boy said, “Why haven’t I had kids yet? Bro, it’s because I don’t want to have kids. Like, have you seen my operation? Have you seen my mom the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad the way he loves me?
“Bro, I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I live. So until I am settled and can be there for my children every day, every minute of every day, I am not having any kids.”
