Standing at the Edge of a Divine Turning

As the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria and Overseas, I stand under the weight of a sacred mandate to declare what the Holy Spirit has spoken concerning the year ahead. The year 2026 rises before us with an unmistakable prophetic charge. This is not a season of vague impressions or muted whispers; the Spirit of God has spoken with clarity, urgency, and authority. Help is on the way. After years marked by global turbulence, national uncertainty, and personal strain, the world is now approaching a divinely orchestrated turning. Heaven is set to break into human affairs with precision and purpose. Nations will be recalibrated, systems will be confronted, and destinies long delayed will be redeemed. The Spirit is summoning us to attention. The atmosphere is shifting. The year 2026 will not be business as usual.

Nigeria at the Threshold of Rebuilding

Nigeria steps into 2026 carrying the weight of past disappointments, yet the Spirit insists that this is the moment of national reawakening. The old structures that have resisted reform will continue to weaken. The façade of entrenched corruption will crack under the pressure of a rising generation that refuses to be silenced. Nigeria’s youth—long dismissed as restless—will emerge as the decisive force of national renewal. Their creativity, their insistence on accountability, and their refusal to accept mediocrity will reshape the civic landscape.

The church will not remain on the sidelines. A fresh prophetic mobilisation will sweep across congregations, calling believers to stand as guardians of national destiny. The Spirit is raising leaders who carry integrity as a mantle, not a slogan. These leaders will not merely occupy office; they will embody assignment. Nigeria’s story in 2026 will not be defined by its challenges but by its courage to confront them.

The Global South: Rising from the Margins to the Centre

Across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, the Global South is entering a season of undeniable ascent. The world can no longer afford to treat these regions as peripheral. Economic realignments will elevate their strategic importance. Diplomatic influence will expand. Innovation will flourish in unexpected places. The Spirit is repositioning the Global South as a central actor in global affairs.

Grassroots ingenuity will redefine development. Communities that once struggled with limited resources will pioneer solutions that the world will study. Digital transformation will accelerate, enabling nations to leapfrog outdated systems and embrace new models of governance and growth. Spiritually, the Global South will remain a furnace of revival. The hunger for righteousness, justice, and spiritual awakening will intensify, producing movements that reshape societies from within.

A World in Transition: Shaking and Alignment

Globally, 2026 will be a year of profound transition. Old alliances will be tested. New coalitions will emerge. Nations will experience shaking—not for destruction but for alignment. The Spirit is rearranging the geopolitical landscape, reminding humanity that no empire is beyond divine scrutiny.

Technological acceleration will continue, but it will force the world to confront urgent ethical questions. Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and digital governance will demand moral clarity. The prophetic voice will challenge the world to pursue progress anchored in righteousness. At the same time, spiritual hunger will intensify across continents. In societies drowning in materialism, people will rediscover their need for transcendence. The Spirit is preparing a global harvest.

2026: Our Year of Active Redemption

For the Holy Spirit has spoken with unmistakable clarity: 2026 shall be our Year of Creative Redemption. It is the year in which God steps directly into the affairs of His people with transformative power, overturning impossibilities that have long mocked human effort. He has resolved to remove public disgrace from among us—barrenness that defied explanation, poverty that resisted every intervention, stagnation that held destinies captive. In 2026, these afflictions will not merely diminish; they will collapse under the weight of divine intention.

Yet this reversal is not passive. It is not a promise to be admired from a distance. It demands alignment—alignment of heart, posture, and obedience. Creative Redemption requires participation. It summons us to move with what God is releasing, to position ourselves for the overturning, and to walk boldly into the spaces where impossibilities are about to bow. The year ahead is not for spectators; it is an invitation to journey with God as He rewrites stories, restores dignity, and reintroduces His people to the possibilities of grace.

The Spirit further declares that 2026 is not merely a year of redemption but the Year of Active Redemption. This is redemption in motion—intervening, restoring, rebuilding. It is not passive hope but divine momentum. Active Redemption means that what was lost will be recovered, what was broken will be rebuilt, and what was delayed will be accelerated. It calls individuals, families, institutions, and nations to rise from stagnation and step into God’s unfolding plan.

Active Redemption Across Nations

Nigeria will step into Active Redemption through a reshaping of governance, a surge of innovation, and a renewed sense of national unity that transcends old fractures. Across the Global South, this same redemptive current will manifest as economic elevation, institutional strengthening, and a deepening spiritual awakening that redefines what is possible for emerging nations. The wider world will not be exempt; it will witness Active Redemption in the form of renewed cooperation among nations, a moral recalibration long overdue, and the reawakening of conscience in societies that have drifted from truth. Yet this divine movement is not automatic. Active Redemption demands engagement. It calls for courage, for obedience, and for a willingness to step boldly into what heaven has already released. It is an invitation to participate in God’s unfolding work, not merely observe it.

What the Individual Should Expect in 2026

Every individual stepping into 2026 should do so with a posture of holy expectation. This is a year in which personal stories will shift, long‑standing limitations will break, and hidden potentials will surface with unusual clarity. The Holy Spirit is calling each person to anticipate divine intervention not as a distant possibility but as a present reality.

Expect doors that once refused to open to respond to the knock of grace. Expect clarity where confusion once reigned, strength where weakness once prevailed, and opportunities where disappointment once lingered.

This is the year when God will meet individuals at the point of their obedience, transforming ordinary steps into extraordinary outcomes. Those who align with the Spirit’s leading will find themselves walking into breakthroughs they did not engineer, favour they did not negotiate, and restoration they could not have imagined. In 2026, personal redemption will not be abstract, it will be visible, tangible, and undeniable.

Help Is on the Way – Prepare for the Unfolding

As 2026 unfolds, the prophetic message is firm and unambiguous: help is on the way. This help will not always arrive in familiar forms. It will come through new leaders, new alliances, new ideas, and new spiritual movements. It will come through the courage of the young, the wisdom of the seasoned, and the unity of the faithful. It will come through divine intervention that disrupts the ordinary and ushers in the extraordinary.

Nigeria will rise. The Global South will ascend. The world will realign. And the church will rediscover its prophetic authority. The Spirit is calling us to prepare—spiritually, intellectually, and morally—for a year marked by Active Redemption.

2026 will not be remembered for its crises but for its breakthroughs. It will be remembered as the year when divine help became visible, tangible, and transformative. The future is not bleak, but bright; not hopeless, but hopeful; not abandoned, but assured.

Help is on the way. Let us rise to meet it.
