UNN Alumni to shut down Lagos for Dignity of Man Walk


Alumni members of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka would on Saturday 10th of November storm the National Stadium – Lagos in what they have termed the “Dignity of Man Walk.”
The Road Walk which has been scheduled to kickoff from the National Stadium by 7am through Adeniran Ogunsanya, Iponri axis, Costain and back to the Stadium will have hundreds of graduates keep fit, dance and socialize.
Addressing pressmen on Monday, the Publicity Secretary, Dominic Nosike made it known that the exercise is for the general public, especially alumni of the institution who will leverage on the exercise to familiarize and expand their network.


“The benefits of exercising the body cannot be overemphasized and it would be a joyful experience to keep fit among a group of people of like minds. Considering the high level of preparation and anticipation by members, this year’s Dignity of Man Walk would be colourful and enriching. Prominent graduates of the university who are known for their uprightness in character and learning would also participate actively, he said.
The road walk is one of the activities to wind up the year as preparations are on top gear ahead of the Alumni Week which include Family picnic, Charity visitation, Lecture and Award scheduled to hold from November 29th to December 2nd.
