N100bn trapped in dead people’s bank accounts: message to Igbo businessmen

As of August 2018 over N100 billion was trapped in dead people’s bank accounts in Nigeria. Some of the money remain unclaimed even now.
This is for men, and of course, women who hide their financial details from their spouses.
I would say, the bad habit of hiding financial details from a spouse is common with Igbo men.
Most Igbo men (the business ones) treat their wives as queens while alive. They would even wear rags while their wives wear the best of attire, gold, diamond, and luxuriate in splendour. But as soon as they die their wives and kids suffer, and some times, lose everything.
You don’t want to be a widow in Igbo-land.
I know a businessman at Banex, who says disclosing his financial details to his wife will cause bad luck for his business.
Renaissant young men shouldn’t follow this path.
If you can’t disclose all your financial details, property details, phone details etc to your spouse, please check yourself and ask “is this really a marriage?”
