The media office of the former governor of Enugu State and senator-elect for Enugu East Senatorial District, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani has alerted the public over some fake Facebook accounts purportedly belonging to him.
A statement by his media adviser, Dan Nwomeh, named the fake accounts as Sen Nnamani Chimaroke Ogbonnia, Sen Chimaroke Nnamani, Chimaroke Nnamani and probably others.
It said the fake accounts were created by fraudsters to dupe unsuspecting members of the public, pointing out that they are noticeably different from the official Facebook account of Nnamani which has the name, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, and was opened precisely on 16 August, 2011.
It advised members of the public to disregard the fake accounts, while warning the impostors to desist forthwith from their nefarious activities or risk being apprehended by law enforcement agencies.
