BREAKING : Fire Outbreak at National Assembly


Report at the disposal of GrassRoots.ng indicates that there is a fire outbreak at the National Assembly complex, Abuja.
The fire according to PremiumTimes started at the technical room, located at the ground floor of the Assembly compound.
One staff member familiar with the technical room said the fire started at where air conditioners units serving the assembly are kept.
staff and other workers are leaving their offices to avoid being trapped as smoke fills up the walkways.
Senators who were initially seated in the gallery area have also moved out.
At the time of this report, the cause of the fire is not yet known as staff are making attempts to put out the fire with extinguishers.
