Motor Accident Along Asaba/Onitsha Expressway Leaves Many Injured


An accident involving at least 4 vehiclesThursday, along Asaba-Onitsha Expressway. Opposite Abraka Market have left many people injured.
According to eyewitness accounts, some buses and taxis were picking passengers at the Okwe General Hospital Junction, when some officials of Delta State Traffic Agency blocked the road leading to an estate opposite former Immigration Office, thus creating a traffic gridlock.
A trailer rammed into some of the vehicles caught up in the gridlock and the ones picking passengers.
The accident left many people injured. The victims were taken to undisclosd hospitals.
