BREAKING: Giadom To Takeover As APC Chairman, Cancels Obaseki’s Disqualification

The political battle between Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his predecessor Adams Oshiomhole who has been suspended as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress is becoming more dramatic than ever.
Grassroots.ng gathered that APC’s Deputy National Secretary of the party, Victor Giadom has made strategic moves to take over as chairman of the party from Oshiomhole.
A federal high court order in Abuja on March 16th declared Giadom as national chairman of the party should the current chairman, Adams Oshiomole be suspended.
Recall that on Tuesday evening, a court of appeal in Abuja upheld Oshiomhole’s suspension as Chairman of the party.
The party, however, announced Former Oyo Governor, Abiola Ajimobi as the acting National Chairman, a development that has created crisis as the party now has two chairmen.
According to findings, Wednesday, Giadom has taken over as the party’s Chairman and his first move was to cancel the screening exercise that disqualified embattled Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki.
It will be recalled that Obaseki was disqualified from contesting the party’s primaries last week over discrepancies in his HSC and NYSC certificates. Giadom has also summoned all APC Edo Guber aspirants that participated in the screening exercise for a meeting.
