Former Imo Governor, Ikedi Ohakim Debunks Arrest Rumors

A former Governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, has described as false the news spreading online that he is being held by a police for fraud .
The Former Governor, denied the rumor in a telephone conversation, Okeomanews reports.
The former governor said ” don’t mind them, my political detractors are at work. I am speaking to you from my house. Arrested for what?. I am a law abiding senior citizen of this country. Linking my hard earned reputation to fraud is repudiating and it is important that you tell Nigerians that Ikedi Ohakim is not in police custody . I have no skeleton in my cupboard.
“Political decorators who do not like Ohakim are responsible for this malicious damage.i have no business with fraud and it important that we debunk the fake news as the making of desperate politicians who on daily basis work to bring down Ikedi Ohakim but you know what?, My God is alive. I am in my house, that is the most important aspect of this conversation.”
