Celebration in Abia As Governor Builds First-Ever ‘World-Class’ Flyover

Okezie Ikpeazu deserves prayers and support for being the first governor to construct the only flyover in Abia State, Bendel Local Government Deputy Chairman, Promise Uzoma Okoro has said

A flyover is a road that passes over another road. There was none is Abia until now. The state has had three governors — Orji Uzor Kalu, Theodore A. Orji and, now, Ikpeazu — who each ruled for two terms (Ikpeazu will complete his in 2023).

“This is Osisioma flyover, the same for which many people mocked the government and tagged it centre table,” Okoro wrote in a social media post on Wednesday morning.

“What many didn’t know was that the delay in the completion was not the making of the governor, it was to give the flyover a world class standard.

“Today Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has completed the first ever flyover since the creation of Abia State in 1991.

“At the moment, the Ministry of Works opened one of the lanes for test running and you can see the heavy flow of traffic on the flyover.

“Governor Ikpeazu has done well. We owe him our prayers and support,” he wrote.
