We Shall Also Build A Cargo Terminal To Boost The State’s & Nation’s Economy And Tourism Capacity – Governor Peter Mbah


The Governor of Enugu State, Governor Peter Mbah who commenced work immediately he resumed office, Has Stated that Enugu State will partner with FG to complete and operationalize the international wing of Akanu Ibiam Airport.
He also mentioned that the cargo terminal will also be built to boost the state’s and nation’s economy and tourism capacity.
On his media post, He wrote,
“Earlier today, I took a tour of the ongoing international terminal building and proposed site for the international cargo terminal at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, in the company of Mr. Kabir Yusuf Mohammed, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
Indeed, I’m pleased to announce that Enugu State will partner with FG to complete and operationalise the international wing of the Airport.
We shall also build a cargo terminal to boost the state’s and nation’s economy and tourism capacity.”
