Lagos PPRO Calls Out BBNaija’s Phyna Over Altercation With Police Officers

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has knocked reality TV star, Otabor Josephina aka Phyna, over her altercation with officers in the state.

Phyna had stated that police officers filmed her and she made them delete it.

In a now-deleted tweet regarding what happened, she wrote, “Police bring out phone dy film me… Me sef bring out my phone dy go live.

“Some unfortanate people where busy encouraging police to deal with me. Na win I win I no kilI person bcuz of hate, y’all don’t even know when to have sense. I sha made sure he deleted it.

“He said taking pictures and video of the person they stopped is in the law. I have never heard of that….PHYNA MADE SURE HE DELETED IT!!!!!!”

Now Reacting to the tweet on his X page on Tuesday, Hundeyin wrote, “If you were in my shoes, somebody carries phone on your face, you’ll get angry. You’ll get angry! – a Nigerian 🙄

“You guys can’t even take what you dish out. A police officer uses his phone to record you, not randomly, but while you’re breaking a traffic rule and you’re all worked up about it, asking which law empowers him to rightfully get evidence. 🤔 You’re unusual.

“But law does not matter when you record police officers in the line of duty, sometimes just to agitate them and quickly scream harassment.”

Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed why he is not yet ready to have children.

He made this known during an Instagram live session on his page on Wednesday.

Burna Boy claimed that his desire to provide the same level of love and dedication his parents gave him is the reason why he is not having kids.

Explaining further, Burna Boy said, “Why haven’t I had kids yet? Bro, it’s because I don’t want to have kids. Like, have you seen my operation? Have you seen my mom the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad the way he loves me?

“Bro, I know I can’t give that to anyone right now with the life I live. So until I am settled and can be there for my children every day, every minute of every day, I am not having any kids.”

Men Of The Lagos State Police Command Have Arrested Singer Portable

The singer was arrested or rather dramatically dragged into the police van while he was trying to run away from the arrest on May 14 following a petition from a car dealer.

Portable allegedly purchased a G-Wagon worth N27 million from the car dealer, made a down payment and took the vehicle away with the promise to pay the balance.

After waiting for a while without any word concerning his balance, the dealer reached out to the singer who claimed the car he purchased had faults. The dealer then asked the singer to return the car or pay the balance but Portable allegedly refused.

Following a petition from the dealer, the police moved in and arrested the singer who is currently in their custody.

When contacted, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest of the singer.

Comedians such as AY Makun, Seyi Law, and MC Lively and many other celebrities were in attendance at the child dedication ceremony of ace comedian Atunyota Akpobome, popularly known as Ali Baba.

Recall that the comedian announced the birth of his triplets, born two months earlier, on his Instagram account on Monday, April 1, 2024. However, some netizens thought it was a prank which Ali Baba didn’t bother clarifying.
