First Super Eagles Call-Up Excites Kelechi Nwakali

FC Porto’s Nigerian midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has expressed his delight at his first called-up to the Super Eagles gaffer, Gernot Rohr for next month’s 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles, reportsCompletesportsnigeria.com.‎

Nwakali is one of the three uncapped playerscalled up for the September 7 clash in Victoria, Seychelles.

Other players handed their first invitation to the Super Eagles are Rotherham United defender Semi Ajayi and Bordeaux midfielder, Samuel Kalu.‎

“Thank God for my first Super Eagles call up,” Nwakali wrote on his Instagram Page on Friday.

Nigeria are third behind Libya and South Africa in Group E.
