Python Dance 3 in S’East meant to intimidate, kill Igbo youths-BIM/MASSOB

Biafra Independent Movement (BIM/MASSOB) led by Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has kicked against the proposed third edition of Nigeria military exercise tagged “Operation Python Dance 3” in the South East, noting that the exercise was another ploy by the northern oligarchy controlled federal government to further intimidate the Igbos and kills their youths.
Stating this in a release signed by Chief Arinze Igbani, former leader of the group in Anambra South Senatorial Zone, BIM/MASSOB noted that the group often wonders why the Nigeria military like paying much attention in launching of military exercises in peaceful South-East geopolitical zone while leaving terrorist prone areas in the North-East and North-Central who are daily being tormented by Boko Haram, herdsmen etc.
According to the group, “The so-called Python Dance has an evil motive and is targeted at the people of South East region who are non-violent and law-abiding. It is a way to suppress the people’s rights of self-determination.
“Nigeria’s federal government should know that the Igbos in the South East are not against the 2019 elections but believe that one day their dream to conduct their own free and fair election will come true.
“We are calling on the international communities, world human right bodies and the media to intervene to stop the Nigerian military from further killing of Igbos and their youths.
