On Sunday, December 31, 2017, Deputy Senate President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Ike Ekweremadu led the team on inspection of ongoing constituency project, a road construction connecting about eight communities.

The road project covers Ugwueme- Nenwenta- Mkwe- Ezere- Awgunta- Obeagu- Mgbidi- Mmaku communities, all in Enugu West Senatorial District.
