BREAKING: EFCC Detains Ex-SGF Babachir Lawal

Barely 24-hours ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo wrote a letter to President Muhammadu Bubari accusing his government of lacking the will to lead, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), arrested the Immediate past Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Babachir David Lawal.

Grassroots.ng learnt that he was picked up today and is currently in the custody of the anti-graft agency.

Mr Lawal was recently relieved of his job by President Muhammadu Buhari after being indicted by a panel that investigated allegations of fraud against him.
