2019: Both APC, PDP governors have endorsed Buhari – Gov. Lalong
As the 2019 general elections draw nearer, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, on Friday, said the Nigeria Governors’ Forum has endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term in office.
He equally said the both the APC and the PDP governors praised President Buhari for rescuing the country from “crisis and poverty”.
Lalong stated this while declaring his campaign office open in Jos, the State Capital.
He said, “I’m just coming back from Abuja; today, all the governors, we went to greet Mr. President, both APC and PDP governors; we were surprised, we thought it was only APC governors that like President Buhari.
“But when we got there, everybody praised President Muhammadu Buhari, both the APC and PDP governors.
“They said Mr. President, you have done very well for this country, that you have rescued Nigeria from crisis and poverty.”
