EEDC apologises for delay in restoring power supply

The Enugu Electricity Distribution PLC (EEDC) has apologise to her esteemed customers in Awka, Anambra State, for the delay in restoring power as planned to the upgraded Agu-Awka Injection Substation.
The Stations said it is due to some unforeseen technical challenges which occurred in the course of the Substation upgrade.
A statement endorsed by Emeka Ezeh, head of Communication s, EEDC, effort is being made by our team of engineers to ensure that work is concluded and power restored to our customers in Agu-Awka GRA, Ifite Awka, UniZik, parts of Nkwele Awka, Amenyi Awka, CBN, Juhel, Millennium Industry and Nodu Okpuno.
“We sincerely apologise to our esteemed customers for the delay and assure them of our concerted effort in completing the upgrade and restoring improved supply before Sunday, April 14, 2019”.
