JAMB Rejects Apology From A Candidate Who Was Caught For Examination Malpractice

A former candidate of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been instructed to forfeit all the academic certificates he had acquired, including the result of the University Matriculation examination after he admitted to engaging in examination malpractices, 21 years ago.
The candidate, identified as Timipade Kemepade, had written a letter to JAMB titled: ‘Restitution on my JAMB Result 21 Years Ago’ seeking forgiveness for engaging in exam malpractice. Kemepade who says he is now a born-again Christian, blamed his misconduct on ”youthful exuberance”
However, the examination body rejected his apology and asked him to forfeit all the academic certificates he had acquired using the JAMB result.
