Seun Kuti Appreciates Family And Friends For Standing By Him Through His Arrest


Released Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, took to his Facebook page last night to appreciate his family members and his friends for standing by him since his faceoff with the Nigerian police.
His arrest happened after the Inspector General of Police, Baba Alkali ordered his arrest on May 13 after a video of him slapping and pushing a police officer on Third Mainland bridge surfaced online.
He turned himself in on Monday, May 15 and has been in police custody since then. He was released on bail on Tuesday night, May 23.
After his release, Seun took to his Facebook page to appreciate his family members, Friends and Lawyers for standing by him.
