Shock As Petrol Price Increases From N138 To N151


Nigerians have reacted negatively towards the decision of the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) to increase the price of petrol from N138.62 per litre to N151.56 per litre.
PPM released on memo on Wednesday to it’s stakeholders saying this: “Please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform ”.
“To this end, the price of premium motor spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty-one naira, fifty-six kobo (N151.56) per litre.”
PPMC, an agency under of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), said the new price takes effect Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
